** Thanksgiving Dinner Box Drive, Nov. 24-26:
We will be packing 75 boxes of food at Temple Isaiah to be delivered to families living in Broadway Village I and II, permanent housing for people who have moved off of Skid Row.

** Holiday Party, Dec. 7:
Temple Isaiah hosts an awesome afternoon holiday party, inviting children from Isaiah and Beyond Shelter to eat, dance and play together. All are welcome! We will also be collecting toys to donate to Beyond Shelter the week of Dec 1-7.

** Move-In Baskets, March/April:
This spring, help us to assemble Move-in Baskets for families moving off of Skid Row and into permanent housing.

BIRTHDAY BANK

Birthdays are a perfect time to have a conversation about how many blessings there are in our lives, and how important it is to share those blessings. At this year’s birthday party, have your child identify one present that he or she would be willing to give to someone whose family can’t afford to buy them presents. Come with your child to the Temple office and exchange your gift for a beautiful certificate of appreciation to be given at the weekly Shabbat celebration, signed by the clergy, recognizing your child’s generosity on his or her birthday.
